JODI, Pet Resort Supervisor / Cat Hospital

Customer Service Specialist

Jodi is a Customer Service Specialist at the Avondale Cat Hospital.  She has been with Avondale for 9 years.  Jodi has 3 dogs, "Dweeil", a yellow lab; "Ariel", a Maltese; "Sarah", a Rat Terrier and 2 cats - "Kodi" and "Jasmine". 

She enjoys shopping and spending time with her family, husband, Brad and son, Bryan, who also works at the Pet Resort.  Jodi also loves to read.

SARAH, Pet Resort Assistant Supervisor

Sarah's responsibilities include overseeing the Pet Resort reception desk and preparing the schedule for the animal caregivers.

Sarah has been employed at Avondale since 2002.  She has a Lab mix named "Candy" and "Harley", who is a German Shepherd mix.  She enjoys racing and hanging out with her friends in her free time.  Sarah plans to go to college in the future.

JENIFER, Client Care Coordinator

Jenifer is one of the care coordinators at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Her friendly smile will greet you as you bring your dogs and cats to the Pet Resort for boarding, grooming or doggie daycare.  Jenifer has been with Avondale since the spring of 2010.  She has a Border Collie/Springer Mix named "Chilly Willy" and a black house kitty named "Scooter".In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, Joel, and visiting her two step-daughters in Arizona, shopping, sewing, decorating, taking road trips and spending time with her pets.

JANNÉ, Client Care Specialist

Janné is one of the client care specialists.  She has been employed at Avondale since 2003 and divides her time between the hospital and Pet Resort.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons as well as her Maltese, "Bailey".  In her free time she likes to go horseback riding, spend time with friends and visit family on the East Coast.

SANDY, Kennel Supervisor /

Level 1 Pet Care Technician

Sandy has been with the Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  She has earned Level 1 Pet Care Technician Status from the Pet Care Services Association.

Sandy keeps busy with her kids, Justin and Samantha and loves going to the kids activities, reading and playing with Hershey.  She has a lab-mix named Hershey, who loves kids and other animals - except cats! 

ELIZABETH, Animal Caregiver /

Shift Leader

Elizabeth is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Her duties include playing with the animals, walking them, making sure that they have food and water and comfortable beds to sleep in.  She has a poodle mix named Grimmy; a cat, Sam; a rabbit, Hamlet and a Conure bird named Dexter.  She has been employed by the Pet Resort since the winter of 2008 and in her free time she likes to spend time with friends and family, go on hikes with her dog, do laps in the pool, read novels and magazines, and play the piano, which she has played for 7 years.

MINDA, Animal Caregiver

Minda has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  She has a Siamese cat named Samantha. 

Minda loves animals and enjoys caring for them.  In her free time she likes to read, watch movies and eat pizza.

ELIZABETH H., Animal Caregiver /

Shift Leader

Elizabeth is an animal caregiver for the Avondale Pet Resort and has been in her position since the spring of 2010.  Her duties include making sure all of the dogs and cats that have reservations in our Cat Condos, dog Suites or dog dormitories have plenty of food and water and are in a nice, clean environment.  She also spends extra play time with the dogs.  She has three cats of her own, "Tinkerbell", "Bubbles", and "Mama Kitty".  In her free time she loves to play tennis, go swimming, go to concerts, listen to music and just have fun with her friends.

JUDY, Animal Caregiver / Shift Leader

Judy is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been a caregiver since the summer of 2010.  Judy also does grooming bath and brushes, and the FURminator treatment.  She loves spending time with the animals at the Pet Resort!  

She has 2 cats of her own, "Chewy" and "Sadie".  She says that before her son was born, her cats were her only babies and they love them dearly.  In Judy's free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son and cuddling with the kitties!

SHERRY,

Animal Caregiver / Veterinary Assistant

Sherry is one of the Animal Caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She spends most of her time at the Pet Resort playing with the dogs in Doggie Daycare, which she loves!  She began her employment with the Avondale Pet Resort in the fall of 2010.  Sherry has two dogs and three horses.  Her dogs are "Mowgli" who is a Welsh Corgi/Pekingese mix and "Lady", who is a Pekingese. 

Her horses are "Cat", a Palomino mare, "Duncan" a Thoroughbred gelding and "Kash", an Egyptian Arabian that she adopted from a rescue.  Sherry is married and has 3 children.  She spends her free time with her family, friends and pets when not attending school to become a veterinary technician.  She also loves to ride her horses and read.

LISA, Animal Caregiver

Lisa is one of the Animal Caregivers at Avondale Pet Resort.  She began her employment with the Pet Resort in the fall of 2010.  She loves taking care of and playing with all the animals that stay at Avondale.

Lisa has a cat, "Cali" and a dog, "Indy".  In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends.

JUSTIN, Animal Caregiver

Justin is an Animal Caregiver at the Avondale Pet Resort.  He has been with the Pet Resort since the fall of 2010.  His duties include making sure all the dogs and cats under his care are fed and have plenty of water, walking and playing with the dogs, keeping the dog and cat rooms clean and tidy, and helping with the many baths for our dog guests.

Justin has a Pit Bull Labrador mix named "Hershey" and in his free time he enjoys playing music.

JO, Animal Caregiver

Jo Heldenbrand is one of the Animal Caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been with the Pet Resort since the spring of 2011.  Jo loves the opportunity to care for and play with all the animals being boarded at the Pet Resort.  She has a Toy Poodle named "Lily", a Morkie named "Molly", and a cat named "Bugs".  After living in Key West, Florida, she was glad to return to the Midwest.  In her free time Jo's favorite activities are sewing, painting, gardening, or doing anything that's "crafty".  She and her husband, Gene, love spending time with their daughter, Lisa, and son, Mike.

CAROLYN, Animal Caregiver

Carolyn has been employed as an animal caregiver since the summer of 2011.  Her responsibilities include the care and nurturing of the Avondale Pet Resort guests.  She makes sure they have plenty of food and water as well as lots of extra attention!  Carolyn has several cats of her own -- "Cass", "Fiona", "Pussycat", "Mickey", "Fhre", "Casey" and "Porky", as well as "Homer", her dog.  In her free time she enjoys leather crafts, art crafts, genealogy searches, cars, and spending time with her husband, Steven.

KATIE, Shift Leader, Animal Caregiver /

Doggie Daycare Provider

Katie has been employed at the Avondale Pet Resort since the fall of 2009.  Her duties and responsibilities are varied as she has the ability to work in all areas!  As shift leader, Katie is in charge of making sure the dogs and cats are well-fed and have clean suites, condos and dorm rooms.  She makes sure the animals are comfortable and "feel at home".  Katie loves playing with the dogs when she is working in Doggie Daycare and especially enjoys the special parties and playtimes they plan.  Katie has a Schnauzer named "Luie" and a kitty, "BeBe".  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and seeing new movies.

LIBBY, Animal Caregiver

Libby is one of the Animal Caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been with the Pet Resort since the fall of 2011.  Libby enjoys everything about caring for the dogs and cats at the Pet Resort!  She has "Gibbs" who is an English Setter; "Zeva" who is an English Setter; "Maverick" who is a Lab/Heeler cross; her cats, "P.J.", "T.J." and

"O.J"; Mini-Donkeys "Skittles", "Tootsie", "Muffin" and "Cookie" and a host of chickens and pigeons.  In her free time Libby shows pigeons, loves gardening, and raising and showing Iris.  Both Libby and her husband, Kelly, are animal lovers.  Her husband works at the Blank Park Zoo.
