DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES

Digital X-ray

Digital X-rays of your pet are taken using the same positions as non-digital x-rays, however instead of using film and chemicals, as in the past, we can now process your pet's X-ray directly onto our computer screen using digital technology.

What this means for you and your pet is that we can produce a much better quality X-ray image, giving us a much clearer image of the bones and soft tissue. Digital X-ray allows us to see far more detail than we ever could before on a standard x-ray, making diagnosis of particular problems much quicker and easier.

On-Site Laboratory

Our in-house veterinary laboratory features diagnostic testing for the following:

• Blood – including Creatinine, GGT/ALT, Total Protein, Alkaline Phosphatase, Glucose, BUN, Albumin, Indirect Phosphorus, Total Chlorine, Amylase, Total Bilirubin, Occult Heartworm, Pregnancy, Lyme Disease, Ehrlichia & PCV.
