Digital X-rays of your pet are taken normally, however instead of using film and chemicals, as in the past, we can now process your pet's X-ray directly onto our computer screen using digital technology. What this means for you and your pet is that we can produce a much better quality X-ray image, giving us a much clearer image of the bones and soft tissue. Digital X-ray allows us to see far more detail than we ever could before on a standard x-ray, making diagnosis of particular problems much quicker and easier.
At Avondale Veterinary Healthcare Complex, we have the capability to perform many veterinary dentistry services from basic cleaning to root canals and crowns.
We utilize a special dental digital X-ray unit for greater precision in diagnosing your pet's dental needs. Our Scaling and Polishing unit is remarkably similar to that used by most human dentists.
